Advertising?
It's awfully quiet around here. Have you considered advertising in say Threat Record, Kobold Quarterly (costs), or other forums/areas of interest?
I'd like more going on..

First semester is over, I might be able to devote some more time to getting some traffic around here. ![]() While those are good suggestions, it might be a little weird to advertise with some of those guy, since I am looking to re-launch Chaos Ex at the start of the new year. Re-packaging the July and August issues and getting the pdfs all spruced up are the plans for now. I've got about 400 people signed up to the Citadel of Chaos group on Facebook, I will have to start sending some messages out reminding people to come on over and start talking. I finally got word back from the Grognard's Tavern folks, and have an account there, so I will probably start some advertising with them, but again, a bit of a conflict of interest. They are more OSR mainstream D&D stuff, and we have a wider range of games, but I don't want to get into a poaching war for members. I might try to get something going with those TARGA folks, I am not sure how their forums are doing. Any ideas of who to contact? I am not against working with Threat Record or KQ or those guys, so any and all suggestions are welcome! RE: Advertising?
You can contact me for Threat Record. The magazine is opening up to more than the 4C System now. Starting with the next issue, we'll be offering articles on almost every open gaming system, and independently published games. Just email me at the addy I signed up with for your board, and we can discuss!

RE: Advertising?
I know that multiple PDF/print magazines may be odd to cross advertise, but remember that you each have different viewpoints on material, different writers, etc.
If one magazine doesn't tickle someones fancy, maybe another wil. The day of "oh no don't tell them about competition" is kinda silly in the small realm we live in--we're trying to get good game material to people, not make a fortune. If we wanted to make a fortune we'd write for other fields. l |

Start with two million. ![]() It's a good point, I need to get some writers together so I can re-launch Chaos Ex with some new material in March. The first two issues will get an overhaul and re-issue in Jan and Feb, but after that, I need some articles! RE: Advertising?
Oh yeah, just thought of one more thing. Hammer together a banner ad for your site, or any of your products, and I'll toss it up into rotation on the 4C Forever site.
